Row of Shells

Studies of a beautiful shell, found in The Whitsunday Islands, Australia. The shell is seen from different views and the shapes seem to dance across the paper, reminiscent of tide lines or movement as shells roll along the shore in time with breaking waves.
I love the idea that a shell will move with the sea and appear at different times in different places, to be seen by people on the shore, as if for the first time. This one made it all the way here!
