Our friends live on the top of a mountain on a beautiful island called Nevis. Cheeky monkeys and hummingbirds visit their verandah daily. A hummingbird built its nest inside the pegbag and amazingly hatched a brood of young on the washingline. Obviously it was impossible to hang out the washing whilst the chicks were hatching.. the perfect inspiration for a painting and a good excuse to avoid washday! (Nevis hummingbird stamps and secret nests are within each of the 3 hummingbird paintings)
