Boats on the Beach

These boats were seen on a on a long white sandy beach called Indian Castles, on Nevis, a tiny Caribbean island. On such islands, simple beauty in the landscapes and everyday scenes and displays are a great inspiration.

The boats were baking in the sun on a hot day. The paintwork was brightly coloured but fading slightly following many fishing trips and times hauled up the sand towards higher ground... perfect colours and composition, none of which are actually my design.. well worth a visit!
