Turquoise Teacup

This teacup is tiny, and the most delicious blue colour imaginable. It is quite old, and was painted as part of ‘collections'.. an ongoing series of paintings to which I am still adding . All the paintings are made on old envelopes or dictionary pages. This piece refers to the English tradition of tea .. served in the drawing room. Dictionary references to cup and saucer from an old dictionary were also used.
